Download State

8.23 When the CPC is in the download state, you can use the Board Utility to download soft-
ware. To place the card in the download state, press and hold the * button while powering on
the system. The CPU Active and DB LEDs alternately light to indicate the card is in the down-
load state.
8.24 The message print will show the following information during this time: "The CPC will
time out after 66 seconds if no download is started." An example of the Download State is
shown below.
8.25 The following example is from Message Print when the * button is held during power
up and then released. In the example below no file was downloaded so the system timed out
after 66 seconds where the system will reset.
