9. SOFTWARE LICENSE MANAGEMENT

9.1 This section provides information about obtaining a software license. It also includes
additional software license information such as how to transfer a license and how to trouble-
shoot license errors.
A. OBTAINING A SOFTWARE LICENSE
9.2
In general, the site should already have a software license available. If necessary, how-
ever, you can "build" a license to meet the customer's needs, as described in this section.
NOTE:
security key and by the software site license (SSL). The serial number appears on the outside
of the card or security key while the site license is shipped with the CPC or CP Server site
license kit. The serial number is required to build a license, and the SSL number is required to
download a license.
9.3 To order a license:
