Q. NODE TRUNK GROUPS
4.333 When Node Trunk Groups is selected, it will show any node trunk groups that were cre-
ated when the T1/PRI, E1/PRI, or T1/E1/PRI card Switch Type is set to Private Networking.
4.334 At the main level, you can program the description and username for each node trunk
group. You can also see which card slot contains the circuits used for this network connection.
4.335 To program the other fields for a node trunk group, double-click on it to view these
options:

4.336 Node trunk group programming is performed as described in the following paragraphs.
4.337 Description and Username: All node trunk groups should have a description and a
username. The description that appears in all node trunk group lists in the database can be up
to 20 characters long. The username, that will appear on display phones, can have up to 10
characters. To program the names, select the desired text box and type the entry.
4.338 Copy Node Trunk Group: To copy a node trunk group, right-click on the trunk group
extension and then select
group, right-click the trunk group where you want the information pasted. Then select
The Copy dialog box allows you to select the attributes you want to copy. Select the desired
attributes and click
4.339 Associated Slot Number: This is the slot number where the card associated with this
node trunk group is located. This field is for reference only and cannot be changed.
