Outgoing Access

9.12 The next three fields control the outgoing access for calls placed by AMIS.
9.13 Outgoing Access: This is the outgoing trunk access code that the Voice Processor will
use to place the outgoing AMIS call. This field defaults to ARS (92000). To determine the out-
going access trunk group, use one of the following methods:

9.14 Outgoing Access Prefix: This is the digit dialed by the Voice Processor before the out-
going access code, if needed. This field can include up to 18 characters. Valid characters
include digits 0-9, * and #, and P for pause. This field is blank by default. To enter the prefix
click on the Value and enter the address in the text box. Then press

9.15 Outgoing Access Termination: This is the digit dialed by the Voice Processor to termi-
nate the outgoing access code, if needed. This field can include up to 18 characters. Valid char-

Network Calls

9.16 Accept Network Calls: The Accept Network Calls flag must be enabled to allow the
Call Routing Application to process AMIS calls. If it is not, incoming AMIS calls will time-
out. To enable the flag, select its check box to place a check mark in it to change the setting to

9.17 Accept Unknown Network Calls: If the Accept Unknown Network Calls flag is
enabled, the local Voice Processor can accept AMIS calls from any voice mail system that sup-
ports AMIS networking. If this flag is disabled, the local Voice Processor can only accept net-
work calls from Voice Processor nodes that are programmed in its database. To enable the flag,
select its check box to place a check mark in it and change the setting to
