INTER-TEL
AXXESS
MANUAL VERSION 11.0 – May 2008
Allow Transfer Method Programming
4.113 This flag determines whether the user (or the voice mail System Administrator) will be
allowed to change the Transfer Method using the voice mail Personal Options prompts. If
enabled, it allows user programming. If disabled, the Transfer Method can be changed only in
DB Programming. Select the check box to place a check mark in it to allow user programming.
Then press
or click on another field to save your change. To disable user program-
ENTER
ming, select the box again to remove the check.
Play Recording Instructions
4.114 If this option is enabled, the system prompt that tells the caller to leave a message after
the beep will play after the primary or alternate greeting. If disabled, the beep will occur as
soon as the primary or alternate greeting ends. In the default state, this option is enabled. To
disable the instructions that play after the primary or alternate greeting, select the check box to
remove the check mark. Then press
or click on another field to save your change. To
ENTER
enable the option, select the check box again.
Auto Attendant Transfer Prompt
4.115 This option determines whether the transfer prompt ("Please hold while your call is
being transferred to...") plays after a caller has entered the extension number of the station
associated with this mailbox. This applies to calls transferred by Automated Attendant and Call
Routing Announcement applications, including transfers to the operator's mailbox or extension
ID. To disable the prompt, select the check box to remove the check. Then press
or
ENTER
click on another field to save your change. To enable the prompt, select the box again.
Deliver Hangup Message (when ANI is available)
4.116 This option determines when to leave an "indication message" if the caller hangs up.
6
This indication message is a system-generated message that states there was an incoming call
to the voice mailbox but that no voice message was left. The purpose of this indication mes-
sage is to capture Caller ID [CLIP] information for the call and display it on the phone. If the
Deliver Hangup Message (when ANI is available) field is set to Yes (default), the system leaves
indication messages for calls that are shorter than the Shortest Message Allowed timer (Voice
Processing\Timers and Limits\Timers and Limits). If set to No, the feature is disabled, and the
system does not leave an indication message. To disable the flag, select the check box to
remove the check. Then press
or click on another field to save your change. To enable
ENTER
the flag, select the box again.
NOTE:
In systems that had ANI support and that were running versions prior to 7.0, voice mail
messages left by an outside caller that were shorter than the minimum required message length
generated a system message (No Message Left) in the associated mailbox.
