Call Configuration
4.358 (MGCP gateways and endpoints and SIP trunks only) The Call Configuration informa-
tion is only required if using peer-to-peer (P2P) audio for the selected MGCP gateway, end-
point, or SIP gateway. The Call Configuration defines the setting that the gateways and
endpoints use when connected to a call. After you program a Call Configuration you can
assign it to multiple devices. By default, all IP devices are placed in Call Configuration 1,
which is programmable. To assign the MGCP gateway, MGCP endpoint, or SIP gateway a call
configuration, double-click

Network Group
4.359 (MGCP gateways and endpoints and SIP trunks only) The Network Group information

4.360 (SIP trunks only) At least one SIP gateway must exist at all times (even in a default sys-
tem) because it follows the model of a CO trunk group. To communicate with a SIP gateway,
the following fields must be programmed (this option is also located under System\Trunk-
Related Information\SIP Gateways.):
CP History
4.361 (SIP trunks only) This field, used for diagnostic purposes only, enables SIP message
output in the CP history file. the CP history file allows you to trace SIP trunk calls. The avail-
able output options are Headers Only, No History, or Full History. By default, this field is set to
Headers Only.

MGCP Gateway IP Address
4.362 (MGCP gateways only) The MGCP Gateway IP Address field identifies the IP address
used to access the MGCP gateway. To enter an IP address, click the current Value. The Edit
MGCP Gateway IP Address dialog box appears. Enter the IP address (do not include periods)

MGCP Gateway Port
4.363 (MGCP gateways only) The MGCP Gateway Port field defines the port number used to
access the MGCP gateway. To change the port number, click the current Value and enter a new
number. Then press

Call Configuration
SIP Trunks: Indicates the SIP gateway where SIP trunks are placed.
IP Address: Indicates the IP address of the SIP gateway.
Listening Port: Indicates the port on the CPC that the system listens to for SIP mes-
sages. By default, this port is set to 5060 (standard SIP port).
The system-wide SIP format is set to No Output by default. To change this setting, use
