a. You must purchase a software upgrade kit (non-ATM part no. 828.1754, ATM part no. 828.1755), follow
the upgrade instructions (835.3211) to reimage the existing CPS with Windows Server 2003, and then
install the Axxess system software.
b. You must purchase a new ATM compatible CPS with Windows Server 2003 (part no. 550.5464), follow the
hardware upgrade instructions (835.3228) to remove the ATM Adapter Card and cables from the existing
CPS to install into the newly purchased CPS, and then install the Axxess system software.
c. The existing CPS does not support Windows Server 2003. You must purchase a new non-ATM CPS with
Windows Server 2003, and then install the Axxess system software.

The following validation checklist allows you to evaluate the validity of the 99 nodes
99 Nodes Validation Checklist
Perform IC calls between Nodes 1, 2, 63, 64,75, and 99.
Make local calls out T1, analog, or IP Gateway if appropriate.
Make 911 calls to 911 operator.
Place and receive calls to voicemail.
Place calls to appropriate STAR applications or location specific applica-
tions as needed.
Setup a conference call between same nodes as IC in step 1.
Confirm that there is two-way audio and DTMF on all calls made
