22.7 The Message Print tab contains fields that determine the file sizes and storage capacity
for the Message print feature.

Message Print Logs
— File Name: Specifies the name of the system message print log file. It is an inter-
nal buffer used to store messages after they are printed via the message print port.
The buffer is saved when a freeze is performed. The information is shown for ref-
erence only and cannot be changed.
— File Size: Enter the size of the system message print log file in kilobytes (100-
4,200,000). This determines how large the message_print_log.mmf file
may grow before it is backed up in the backup directory (see Directories tab). The
default is 256 KB.
— Total Files: Enter the number (1-99) of system message print log backup files that
will be kept in the backup directory. The default is five files.
Message Print Buffer
— File Name: Specifies the name of the system message print buffer file. This is an
internal buffer used for storing messages that are waiting to be printed via the
message print port. The information is shown for reference only and cannot be
changed.
— File Size: Specifies the size of the system message print buffer file in kilobytes
(100-4,200,000).
