Ring-in Type: Select the desired ring-in type by selecting the desired option but-
ton. This ring-in type will be used for all area code patterns created using this
batch command. The call can ring in to a single extension number (off-node
device, station, hunt group, application, trunk group, individual trunk, or ARS), an
extension list, as a DISA call (which allows the caller to select a destination), a
destination based on collected digits, or as another call routing table. If Single,
Extension List, or Call Routing Table is selected, you must also program the desti-
nation as described below. DISA ring-in requires no additional programming. Any
DISA codes programmed for the trunk group will apply to callers.
Ring-in Destination: To select the specific destination for the area codes, select
the Change Ring-In Destination button and use the selection screens to choose
desired ring-in destination and type. When you return to the Call Routing Name
and Ring-In Information screen, select
NOTE:
Even though Primary Rate trunks appear in the selection lists, they can
only be used by selecting ARS; individual B-channel trunks or trunk groups con-
taining B-channel trunks will not function properly with this feature.
Area Codes: Select the area code(s) that will be included in the batch of patterns.
Then you can select a series of area codes by pressing
first and last in the series. Or you can select individual area codes by holding
down
while highlighting the desired area codes. When you have selected all
CTRL
the area code you need, select
Name: Each pattern is identified in the list by the digits that are sent after the
handshake. The base number of the DID numbers is the name prefix. The prefix
and the collected digits are combined to form a complete number for display (for
example, a base number 9619 would combine with digits 000 to display 9619000).
Enter the base number of the DID number block in the Name text box.
Initial DID: This is the first number in the series of DID numbers being pro-
grammed (without the base number). For example, if you were programming for
DID numbers 9619000 through 9619019 (9619 is the base number), you would
enter 000. Enter the first DID number in the Initial DID text box.
Number of Patterns: This is the number of DID numbers that will be included in
the pattern list. In the example above (9619000 through 9619019) you would enter
20 because the range includes 20 DID numbers. Scroll to or enter the appropriate
number (up to 999) for your DID list in the box.
Name: Each pattern is identified in the list by the digits that are sent after the
handshake. The base number of the DDI numbers is the name prefix. The prefix
and the collected digits are combined to form a complete number for display (for
example, a base number 01162903 would combine with digits 000 to display
01162903000). Enter the base number of the DDI number block in the Name text
box.
Initial DDI: This is the first number in the series of DDI numbers being pro-
grammed (without the base number). For example, if you were programming for
DDI numbers 01162903000 to 01162903019 (01162903 is the base number), you
would enter 000. Enter the first DDI number in the Initial DDI text box.
