MANUAL VERSION 11.0 – May 2008
Corrective Action
Try again within five or ten minutes.
Check to make sure the Voice Processing PC
power switch is on, and check the cabling connect-
ing the system to the PC.
For optimal performance, the Voice Processing PC
is configured with the high-speed (turbo) mode
always enabled. Do not disable the turbo mode
setting.
Configure the OPC to have a Voice Processing
Unit connection. See PROGRAMMING,
117.
Make sure the appropriate time slot group (number
of Voice Processing voice channels) is assigned to
each Voice Processing application. See PRO-
GRAMMING,
page
6-354.
Check the AIC-to-OPC cabling.
In tri-/quad-chassis installations, make sure the
OPC is installed in the master dual-chassis.
Ensure that the PC is not trying to boot off a dis-
kette in the floppy drive.
Be sure that pin 1 marked on each end of the
cable matches pin 1 on the AIC and PC Mother
board. (If connected incorrectly, the PC will be
reset continuously or will not boot up at all.)
Remove the DB-25 modular adapter when not
being used
The Voice Processing PC boots up much faster in
turbo mode. Before shipping, the PC is configured
with the high-speed (turbo) mode always enabled.
Do not disable the turbo mode setting.
