- POWER STEERING GEAR
INSTALL GROMMET AND BRACKET
INSTALL PS GEAR ASSEMBLY
Install the PS gear assembly with the gear assembly set
bolt.
Torque: 165 N·m (1,700 kgf·cm, 123 ft·lbf)
Install the gear assembly set bolt, washer and nut.
Torque: 130 N·m (1,350 kgf·cm, 96 ft·lbf)
Install the stud bolt to the bracket.
Torque: 20 N·m (200 kgf·cm, 15 ft·lbf)
Install the bolt and nut to the bracket.
Torque: 165 N·m (1,700 kgf·cm, 123 ft·lbf)
CONNECT PRESSURE FEED AND RETURN TUBES
SST 09023-12701
Torque: 22 N·m (227 kgf·cm, 16 ft·lbf)

Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm
(11.81 in.).
L
This torque value is effective in case that SST is parallel
to a torque wrench.
CONNECT CLAMP PLATE
Torque: 29 N·m (290 kgf·cm, 21 ft·lbf)

Align the matchmark on the wheel and steering column
main shaft.
Temporarily tighten the wheel set nut.
Connect the connector.
