2UZ-FE engine:

AIR CONTROL VALVE

TURN AIR CONDITIONING SWITCH OFF

CHECK IDLE-UP

Start the engine and run it at idle.

Fully turn the steering wheel.

Check that the engine rotations decrease when the vacu-

um hose of the air control valve is pinched.

Check that the engine rotations increase when the hose

is released.
