It will take a short time for the mirror to become warm.

- MIRROR HEATER SYSTEM (Except Double Cab)
INSPECT MIRROR HEATER SWITCH TIMER OPERA-
TION
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminals
2 and 6 of the mirror heater switch and the negative (-)
lead to terminal 4.
Connect the positive (+) lead from the voltmeter to termi-
nal 6 of the mirror heater switch and the negative (-) lead
to terminal 4.
When the switch is OFF, the voltage should be approxi-
mately12 V.
Push the mirror heater switch on and check that the indi-
cator lights up and that the voltage is less than 1 V.
After 15 minutes, check that the switch is OFF and the
voltage is approximately 12 V.

HTR) CONTINUITY

INSPECT MIRROR HEATER OPERATION
Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal
2 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 6.
Check that the mirror becomes warm.
