PLANETARY GEAR

Select a snap ring that allows for minimum axial play.

Using a snap ring expander, install a snap ring.

IF NECESSARY, REPLACE PLANETARY GEAR INNER

Using SST, remove the bearing.

Engage the claws of the SST securely so that there is no

clearance between the inner bearing and planetary gear.

Using SST and a press, install a new bearing.

Bearing press in depth:

7.7 to 8.3 mm (0.303 to 0.327 in.)

1.45 to 1.50 (0.0571 to 0.0591)

1.50 to 1.55 (0.0591 to 0.0610)

1.55 to 1.60 (0.0610 to 0.0630)

1.60 to 1.65 (0.0630 to 0.0650)

1.65 to 1.70 (0.0650 to 0.0669)
