4.5.6 Replacing the complete lower arm

Action
Stretch the lifting accessories to take the
weight of the parallel arm.
To release the brakes on axis-3, connect
the 24 VDC power supply.
Connect to connector R2.MP3:
• pin 2 = 24V
• pin 5 = 0V
Use caution, release the brakes on the axis-
3 and lift the parallel arm up as close as
possible against the lower arm.
Secure the parallel arm to the lower arm
with a Endless ratchet lashing belt.
With the brakes still released on axis-3, use
the ratchet belt and manually move the
parallel arm the last bit against the lower
arm.
Secure with the ratchet belt.
Remove the 24 VDC power supply.
