Attendant Access (Dial 0)
Description
A feature
access code (usually 0) is provided
for reaching
the attendant.
The destination
can change
based
on night/day
service.
The destination
can be a device type other than a console
or LDN. There
is also a second
class of dial 0. See Priority Dial 0 in this practice.
The attendant
can be reached
by dialing:
9 attendant
access code (usually
0), which is to a console
directory
number,
l
console
directory
number,
or
l
attendant
access code which
is routed to an LDN key.
Conditions
The following
conditions
apply to this feature:

l
The Attendant
Access code can generally
be used in the system wher-
ever an attendant
individual
directory
number
can be programmed
except
in the call rerouting
table; this can include Call Forwarding.
l
If there is no feature
access
code defined,
the Dial 0 routing
point is
still used by several features.
Programming
Assign an access code to Feature
11 (Extension
General
Attendant
Ac-
cess) .
Assign
access
codes to the Dial 0 entry in CDE Form 19 (Call Rerouting
Table) for the tenant
of the caller.
