Usage Information
Configure the maximum shared buffer available for PFC traffic. You can choose to increase or decrease the shared
buffer that is allocated in the system by default. Configure the shared buffer size less than the total PFC buffer
size. If the shared buffer size is more than the total PFC buffer size value, the configuration is not saved and a
system logging message is generated.
Dell(conf)#dcb pfc-shared-buffer-size 3000
% Error: Shared buffer size cannot be greater than the the available buffer in

Enter a smaller value for the shared buffer size or increase the total buffer size appropriately by using the dcb
pfc-total- buffer-size command.

dcb pfc-headroom-buffer-size

Configure a shared head room pool limit, which is the threshold value for the shared head room pool size.
Syntax
dcb pfc-headroom-buffer-size buffer-size
To undo the shared head room pool limit configuration, use the no dcb pfc-headroom-buffer-size
buffer-size command.

Enter the maximum buffer value that you want to allocate for the shared head room pool.
Each lossless Priority or Priority Group can use up to the peak head room configured for
that particular priority from the shared head room configured. The range is from 0 to
3399.

Enter the name of the profile, which can be a string of up to 32 characters in length.
