Control the number of network prefixes received.
Syntax neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} maximum-prefix maximum [threshold]
[warning-only]
To return to the default values, use the no neighbor {ip-address | peer-group-name} maximum-
prefix maximum command.

Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted decimal format.
Enter the name of the peer group.
Enter a number as the maximum number of prefixes allowed for this BGP router. The
range is from 1 to 4294967295.
(OPTIONAL) Enter a number to be used as a percentage of the maximum value. When
the number of prefixes reaches this percentage of the maximum value, the E-Series
software sends a message. The range is from 1 to 100 percent. The default is 75.
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword warning-only to set the router to send a log message
when the maximum value is reached. If this parameter is not set, the router stops peering
when the maximum number of prefixes is reached.
NOTE:
the maximum configured value. After the maximum number is reached, the
router drops any additional prefixes that it receives.
