Passenger compartment fan assembly control unit: Removal - Refitting
RIGHT-HAND DRIVE
II - OPERATION FOR REMOVAL OF PART
CONCERNED
a Disconnect the control unit connectors from the mo-
tor-driven fan assembly.
a Remove:
- the bolts (4) from the motor-driven fan assembly
control unit,
- the motor-driven fan assembly control unit.
REFITTING
I - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the motor-driven fan assembly control unit.
a Connect the connectors on the motor-driven fan as-
sembly control unit.
II - FINAL OPERATION.
a
Note:
T o avoid causing mechanical damage to the
blower unit, ensure that the ends of the refriger-
ant pipe are inserted correctly.
a Refit the refrigerant pipe onto the motor-driven fan
assembly.
a Refit the glovebox mounting.
a Refit the glovebox refrigerant pipe on its mounting.
HEATING
a Refit the glovebox (see Glovebox: Removal - Refit-
ting) (57A, Interior equipment).
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Apply the after repair procedure using the Diagnos-
tic tool :
- connect the Diagnostic tool,
- select "Climate control computer",
- go to repair mode,
- display the "Before/after repair procedure" for the
selected computer,
- select "Power module for passenger compartment
ventilation fan assembly" in the "List of compo-
nents controlled by this computer" section,
- carry out the operations described in the "After re-
pair procedure" section.
