Note:
If the user waits before logging in as sdc after powering on the system, the following DMI registra-
tion failure message appears (the date and timestamp varies):
unknown console login: Feb 21 13:11:00 unknown snmpXdmid: Registration
with DMI
failed. err = 831.
To avoid the DMI registration failure message, explain customers that:
An ideal way is to remain in the room after booting the system in the mornings until they enter
"sdc" at the login prompt.
They must login as sdc immediately or within 20 minutes of powering on the system.
If they fail to login within 20 minutes and are faced with the DMI registration failure message, they
can simply press the <return> key and enter sdc to login as usual.

Introduction
The Browser window (known as the Browser) is displayed after someone logs in via the AWS login
screen with the Login option. Hospital staff use the Browser to undertake many tasks, such as to:
• Shut down the Senographe system.
• Link with the HIS/RIS (Hospital/Radiology Information System).
• Access the Worklist for setting up and starting patient examinations.
• Select images in the workstation database for review.
• Manage the database (in particular to remove images that are no longer required).
• Transfer images to other workstations.
• Save images on recordable CDs for data interchange.
• Archive images (if the optional mass archiving system is present).
It is not the scope of this document to describe fully the use of the Browser. A full description of the
Browser can be found in the Senographe DS Operator Manual. There are however some routine ser-
