CHARGING (1GR−FE) −
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL GENERATOR
(a) Install the generator with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 43 N m (438 kgf cm, 32 ft lbf)

(b) Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 8.0 N m (82 kgf cm, 71 in. lbf)

(c) Connect the wire harness.

Torque: 9.8 N m (100 kgf cm, 7 ft lbf)

Torque: 8.0 N m (82 kgf cm, 71 in. lbf)
2. INSTALL BATTERY
3. INSTALL FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

4. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB−ASSY NO.1
Install the engine under cover sub−assy No. 1 with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 29 N m (296 kgf cm, 21 ft lbf)
5. INSTALL V−BANK COVER
Install the V−bank cover with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 9.8 N m (100 kgf cm, 87 in. lbf)
GENERATOR
Connect the wire harness to the terminal B and
install the nut.
Connect the connector to the generator assy.
Install the wire harness stay with the bolt.
