11.6.6 Basic Test Procedure
[1] Basic Connection Test
Is the POWER lamp turned ON?
STEP 1
[Not turned ON]
• Confirm that power cable is firmly inserted.
• Confirm that AC cable from the power socket is firmly inserted to the AC adapter.
[Turned ON]
Proceed to STEP 2.
Is the LINK lamp turned ON?
STEP 2
[Not turned ON]
• MG-BRI is not connected to the LAN physically. Confirm the LAN cable connection between the
MG-BRI and networking environment. (Also confirm the power of SW HUB and Routers are
turned ON)
• Confirm that correct cable is being used (Use the Straight-through cable)
• Confirm that the cable is not damaged (Operate the link test)
Replace the LAN cable or check the network environment if the problem is still not solved.
[Turned ON]
This lamp will turn ON when the initial startup of the MG-BRI is started and connection towards the
LAN is established.
Proceed to STEP 3.
Is the ON LINE lamp turned ON?
STEP 3
[Not turned ON]
• Confirm the data assignment of the Telephony Server side and MG-BRI side.
Telephony Server: Is the data assignment correct?
MG-BRI: Confirm the configuration data assigned from the maintenance console.
[Turned ON]
Proceed to STEP 4.
Is the LINE0/1 lamp turned ON?
STEP 4
[Not turned ON]
