Restoring Config Data By Serial Connection And TFTP Connection
TFTP Server
Serial Console
Note: TFTP server and Serial Console both can be performed in single Personal Computer.
Power off MG(PRI) and disconnect it from the network.
STEP 1
Connect Serial Console to MG(PRI) by using a Console Cable (RS232C <-> RJ-45) cable.
STEP 2
Connect TFTP server to MG(PRI) by using a LAN cable.
STEP 3
<Data Assignment on TFTP Server>
If the name of the backup config file is not sysdata, rename it to "sysdata".
STEP 4
Put the file in the root folder of TFTP server, and then start the TFTP server program.
STEP 5
Permit read behavior of this folder. For more information, refer to the appropriate manual at-
STEP 6
tached to the TFTP server program.
<Data Assignment on Serial Console>
Power on MG(PRI).
STEP 7
Activate HyperTerminal and set the following:
STEP 8
Bit per second:9600bps
Data bits:8bit
Parity:None
Stop bit:1bit
Flow control:None
After a prompt (->) is displayed, enter "usrConsole".
STEP 9
After a prompt (">MG-PRI" or ">MG-PRI(SIP)") is displayed, enter "get configdata
STEP 10
<TFTP's IP Address>" to download configuration data into MG(PRI).
Confirm that "successfully completed" is displayed in the screen, indicating the up-

load to TFTP server is completed normally.
