[1] Basic Connection Test
STEP 1: Is the PWR lamp lighting green?
[No]
•
Check the AC power cable is firmly inserted.
•
Check the PWR switch is ON.
•
Check the AC power cable from the AC power inlet is firmly connected to power source.
[Lights green]
Go on to STEP 2.
STEP 2: Is the LINK lamp lighting green?
[No]
•
MG(PRI) may not be physically connected to the LAN. Check the LAN cable between MG(PRI)
and networking device. (Also check the power of Switching HUB and Routers are turned ON.)
•
Check that correct cable is used (Use the Straight-through Cable)
•
Check that the cable is not damaged. (Test the continuity in the LAN cable.)
Replace the LAN cable or the network device if the problem is still not cleared.
[Lights green]
This lamp turns ON when MG(PRI) initially starts up and connection to LAN is established.
Go on to STEP 3.
