1 Check STOP fuse.

Check fuse continuity.

PREPARATION:
Disconnect the stop light switch connector.

CHECK:
Check continuity between terminals.

− CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM (1ZZ−FE)
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Remove the STOP fuse from the instrument panel junc-
tion block.
There is continuity.
Replace STOP fuse.
Switch position
Switch pin free
(Brake pedal depressed)
Switch pin pushed in
(Brake pedal released)
Replace stop light switch.
