PREPARATION:
Disconnect the engine room No. 2 wire from the instrument
panel wire.

Disconnect the engine room No. 2 wire from the instrument
panel wire.

Sensor
Assembly
Measure the resistance between the body ground an each of
+SR and −SR of the engine room No. 2 wire connector on the
instrument panel wire side.
OK:
−SR

− SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Measure the voltage between the body ground and each
of +SR and −SR of the engine room No. 2 wire connector
on the instrument panel wire side.
Voltage: Below 1 V
NG Repair or replace engine room No. 2 wire.
Resistance: 1 MΩ or Higher
NG Repair or replace engine room No. 2 wire.
