14.19 To log on to the domain server, the service requires a valid user ID and password on the
domain server. They are programmed through Voice Processing DB Programming (see
351). The user ID and password can be obtained from the Windows system administrator. It is
important that the system administrator set up the password so that it does not expire. If the
password expires, the log on fails.
14.20 If Voice Processing is unable to log on to the network, a message is automatically
entered into the Windows System Event Log. Because Voice Processing tries repeatedly to log
in to restore a network connection, if the network is down for a long time (or Voice Processing
is running in an environment without a network), many entries are entered into the Event Log.
Eventually, the log fills up, and warning messages start appearing on the PC screen. The
instructions below tell how to change the setting of the Event Log to handle this situation.
