When the display shows ENTER NUMBER, do one of the following:
To enter or change a number: Dial the extension number or telephone number
(up to 16 digits, including pauses and hookflashes/recalls) to be stored. To include
*, #, a hookflash/recall, or a pause in the number, press
for an asterisk (*), twice for a pound [hash] (#), three times for a hookflash
(recall), or four times for a pause. You can enter more than one *, #, or hookflash
(recall) in a row by pressing the
