3.36 Voice Processor Connection: If more than eight Voice Processor ports are equipped,
enable this option by selecting the current Value and then selecting the check box to place a
check in it. (Or, remove the check mark if the Voice Processor has eight or fewer ports.) The
Voice Processor connection should be enabled on only the first OPC installed when there are
multiple OPCs. When this option is enabled, you must connect the cable from the OPC to the
Voice Processor's AIC. See
3.37 Time Slots Required: This is used for reference only. This tells you how many time
slots are needed to support the resources, as configured, to prevent voice channel blocking

These phone ports do not require special configuration programming.
Up to 20 DSS/BLF units can be connected to digital display phones with PCDPMs.
Each of those phones can have up to four DSS/BLF Units in addition to using the Off-

A digital display phone with a PCDPM (that does not have a DSS/BLF unit attached)
can use a Desktop Interface device.
Digital display phone ports with PCDPMs can be designated as system serial ports.
(There can be up to 32 system serial ports per system, including phones, OPC, CPC,
