If you desire, you may make a copy of the DB Programming folder on your DB
Programming PC for emergency recovery.

Floppy_Disk_Installation is used to make the floppy disks for any PC or laptop not hav-
ing a CD-ROM drive. The Single_File_Installation is used to load the required pro-
gramming software onto a PC or laptop with a CD-ROM unit.

Follow the directions outlined by the installation wizard, clicking
the next screen. The software installation will start loading files. During the installation,
a window displays the percentage of the files that have been copied.
NOTE:
If you have an older version of AXXESSORY Connect installed on your pro-
gramming PC, you may see an error message concerning TAPI. System versions 5.1
and later DB Programming requires TAPI version 2.1 or newer to use the modem to
connect to remote systems. Your version of AXXESSORY Connect may use an older
version of TAPI. If so, you will be asked if you want to upgrade the TAPI components. If
you answer Yes, TAPI 2.1 will be installed and your AXXESSORY Connect may be
inoperable. However, if you answer No, the Session Manager will not be able to set up
a modem session unless you reinstall DB Programming to upgrade the TAPI version.
The last installation window gives you the opportunity to view a "Read Me" file that
explains the enhancements that have been made to the System. If you would like to
view it now, click . If not, click
