H. NAVIGATING WITHOUT A MOUSE
10.44 For those times when a mouse is not available, or if you simply prefer to use keyboard
commands, the information presented here can be used to navigate the programming window
and perform those commands normally associated with the mouse.

all the necessary information is shown in the programming windows. To make sure that your
machine is set up in this way, press

Window Panes

10.46 The programming window is divided into two panes. The left pane is a list of folders,
while the right pane is a list of folders and files. In relation to System programming, the left
side of the screen (left pane) may be thought of as the "programming areas" (like Station Pro-
gramming, Hunt Group Programming, etc.). The right pane contains the individual components
(Specific Stations and Specific Hunt Groups).

make changes—is primarily controlled by the arrow keys and by the

programming focus is on the words "System" in the left pane. It is highlighted and there
is a dashed line around the words. This is the programming focus. It is possible to have
more than one highlight on the screen at one time, but there can only be a single focus.
Expand (+) and Collapse (-): If the item in the left pane is expandable (which is indi-
cated by a small "+" sign to the left of the item), it is possible to expand it to show all of
its contents in the left pane, by pressing the plus (
