Adjustable Baseplate
13.4 The Professional, Associate, and Eclipse Basic Phones have adjustable baseplates that
allow the users to set the angle of the phone. To change the baseplate position:

called a wall jack assembly).

Gently press on one edge of the baseplate and lift it off the phone.
If you have a PCDPM installed, route the cables so that they are under the baseplate.
Position the baseplate over one of the three sets of holes and snap it into place. The
curved edge should be toward the top of the keyset.
Remove the phone baseplate from the top half of the back of the phone.

Rotate the baseplate 180
NOTE:
If a PCDPM is already installed inside the baseplate, first open the phone and
reroute the PCDPM-to-keyset interface cable through the knockout in the bottom half of
the phone (see
Figure 3-87
Using a ruler, mark the location of the phone mounting holes on the wall. (The centers
of the two perpendicular mounting holes on the back of the phone are four inches
apart.)
Drive a screw into the center of each mounting hole marking. Allow the head of the
screw to protrude approximately ¼ inch.
To hold the handset in place while the phone is
wall-mounted, slide the reversible cradle hook
o
out, rotate it 180
, and reinsert it as shown at
right.
Position the phone mounting holes over the
screws and slide the phone into position on the
wall. (If necessary, adjust the screws to ensure
the phone is held firmly in place.)
