ing to upload is not valid with the current Database. It also suggests that you delete all nodes
with numbers greater than 63 if you want to upload this license.

later, the network can still support a downgrade of systems. However, when you create a
remote node 64 through 99, this introduces a "no-turning back" point in the network. The cre-
ation of a remote node greater than 63 changes the internal protocol for private networking. In
general, the Inter-Tel 5000 can be used as a node within a network with Axxess nodes. How-
ever, after the Inter-Tel 5000 system is set up for 99-node capacity, it can no longer be used in
a network with Axxess nodes of version 7.0 (for PRI private networking) or version 8.1 (for IP
networking) because they do not support 99-node networks. At this time, it is imperative that
you do not downgrade any nodes to below v10.0. Older versions of software cannot interpret
the protocol change correctly.

To configure a 99-node network:
In DB Programming remote mode, go to Operations - Database Operations -
, and save the existing database for each node.
Save
Perform a Database Conversion and upgrade existing nodes to Axxess v10.0 or later
software. Ensure all nodes in the network are upgraded.
Verify that the "AXXESS LICENSE ENABLE 99 NODES" (part no. 840.0632) license
is enabled for each node.
Go to Operations - Database Operations -
