the connector is securely positioned into place, as shown on the next page.
Attach the module to the display phone using the two mounting screws.

To connect to an MDPM:
Plug the appropriate end of the PCDPM-to-MDPM interface cable (part no.
813.1566; included with the MDPM) into the MDPM connector (J1) on the
PCDPM. (The other end of the cable is attached to the MDPM after it is installed.)
NOTE:
Pin 1 of the cable (indicated by the stripe on the edge of the cable) must
correspond to pin 1 on the MDPM connector (indicated by the notch silkscreened
on the PCDPM). Some older PCDPM-to-MDPM cables may have the stripe on the
wrong edge. If the MDPM doesn't respond properly, try reversing the connector on
the PCDPM.
