3.114 The Diagnostics folders, located within each trunk port folder in DB Programming, are
used for troubleshooting. The following information appears:

Range
1-255 The system initiates this timer when a Channel Restart message is sent.
seconds The timer is terminated when the Restart Acknowledge is received from
the public network. If the Restart Acknowledge is not received before this
timer expires, the system sends a second Restart message to the public
network. If the timer expires a second time and a Restart Acknowledge
has not been received from the public network, the system idles the
respective channel.
1-65535 Controls the amount of time the ISDN Data Link layer will wait for a
tenths response from the network before it re-transmits a UI frame during the
TEI assignment procedure.
1-255 If the appropriate Resume response (Resume Acknowledge or Resume
seconds Reject) is not received before this timer expires, the requesting system
sends a Release Request.
1-65535 This timer controls the amount of time the ISDN Data Link layer will wait
tenths for an acknowledgment from the network before it transmits a frame
again.
1-255 If the appropriate Setup Request response (Alerting, Connect, Call Pro-
seconds ceeding, Setup Acknowledge, or Release) is not received before this
timer expires, the requesting system sends another Setup Request or
clears the call.
1-255 The system is expected to respond to the Network Status Enquiry within
second this time interval. If the system does not respond before the timer expires,
the network will send a second Status Enquiry and will again expect the
system's status response within this interval. Although the system does
not actively use this timer, it is provided as a reference to gauge the sys-
tem's response.
1-255 If the appropriate Suspend response (Disconnect, Release, Suspend

expires, the requesting system sends a Suspend Reject.
1-65535 This timer controls how long the ISDN Link Data layer will wait for an XID
tenths response from the network before transmitting the XID Request again.
(XID parameter negotiation is not supported.)
Hourly Display: Double-click on Hourly to see the number of errors that have occurred
during each hour for the past 24 hours.
Daily Display: Double-click on Daily to see the number of errors that have occurred
during several 24-hour periods.
Hourly Summary: The hourly summary shows the number of errors that have occurred
in the past hour.
Daily Summary: The daily summary shows the number of errors that have occurred in
the past 24 hours.
