System Serial Port Configuration: If using the PCDPM as a system serial port (e.g.,

for SMDR or message print), program the Keyset Serial Port with the desired Bit Rate

entry. Besides configuring the system serial port Bit Rate field, it may also be necessary

to program the system to route the desired output to this port via the system serial port

mance. However, depending on the attached device, a slower speed may be necessary.

Also note that hardware handshaking is already checked and cannot be changed. By

design, all system serial ports routed through a PCDPM always have hardware hand-

shaking enabled and cannot use software handshaking.
