60-3 logging console
This command is used to set the severity of logs that are allowed to be displayed on the console. The no format of the
command disable show log on console.

This command is used to set the severity of logs that are allowed to be send to the syslog server. The no format of the
command disable send log to syslog server.

Specifies the severity of log messages, 0 to 7. The name of the severity or the
numeral can be used.
Debugging level.
Global Configuration Mode.
Level: 15
When a log severity is set here, the log messages at or below that severity will be
displayed on the console.
The following table is description about the level:
Level Description
0 System is unusable.
1 Action must be taken immediately.
2 Critical conditions.
3 Error conditions.
4 Warning conditions.
5 Normal but significant condition.
6 Information messages.
7 Debug-level messages.
This example shows how to set the severity of the log, that is allowed to be displayed
on the console, as 6:
Specifies the severity of log messages, 0 to 7. The name of the severity or the
numeral can be used.
Informational level.
