disable log target [console | memory-buffer | nvram | primary-msm | backup-
msm | session | syslog [all | <ipaddress> | <ipPort>] {vr <vr_name>}

Description
Stops sending log messages to the specified target.
Syntax Description

memory-buffer
nvram
primary-msm
backup-msm
session
syslog
all
ipaddress
ipPort
vr_name
local0 ... local7
Default
Enabled, for memory buffer, NVRAM, primary MSM, and backup MSM; all other targets are disabled
by default.
Usage Guidelines
NOTE
The BlackDiamond 8800 family of switches and the Summit X450 switch do not support user-created VRs.
This command stops sending messages to the specified target. By default, the memory buffer, NVRAM,
primary MSM, and backup MSM targets are enabled. Other targets must be enabled before messages
are sent to those targets.

Specifies the console display.
Specifies the switch memory buffer.
Specifies the switch NVRAM.
Specifies the primary MSM.
NOTE: This parameter is available only on modular switches.
Specifies the backup MSM.
NOTE: This parameter is available only on modular switches.
Specifies the current session (including console display).
Specifies a syslog target.
Specifies all of the remote syslog servers.
Specifies the syslog host name or IP address.
Specifies the UDP port number for the syslog target.
Specifies the virtual router that can reach the server IP address.
NOTE: The BlackDiamond 8800 family of switches and the Summit X450
switch do not support user-created VRs.
Specifies the local syslog facility.
