create account

On the BlackDiamond 8800 family of switches and the Summit X450 switch, if you do not want a password

associated with the specified account, press Enter twice.

The following command creates a new account named John2 with administrator privileges:

create account admin John2

This command was first available in ExtremeWare XOS 10.1.
