Hop Lmt
Enter the number of hops for each preference. A hop is when a call tandems through a media server or
switch to another destination. Limiting the number of hops prevents circular hunting, which ties up trunk
facilities without ever completing the call. Avaya Communication Manager blocks a hop equal to or
greater than the number you enter.
