Each attendant console requires a port on a digital line circuit pack. For reliability, the attendant consoles
should not be assigned to ports on the same digital line circuit pack. For example, if three attendant
consoles are to be provided, assign each console to a port on three different digital line circuit pack, if
possible. However, if required, all attendant consoles can be assigned to ports on the same digital line
circuit pack.
Security Code
Does not apply to S8700 IP-Connect. Enter the security code required by the SoftConsole IP attendant.
The required security code length is determined by Minimum Security Code Length on the
Feature-Related System Parameters screen.
