logging email receiver-ip <ip address> [auth-username <username> |
auth-password <password>]
Use the logging email receiver-ip command to specify the IP address of the email server to use when
sending notification that an event matched the criteria configured using the logging email priority-level
command. See logging email priority-level [error | fatal | info | notice | warning] on page 471 for related
information. Use the no form of this command to remove a configured address.
Syntax Description
<ip address>
auth-username
<username>
auth-password
<password>
Default Values
By default, there are no configured email server addresses.
Usage Examples
The following example specifies an email server (with address 172.5.67.99) to use when sending logged
messages:
ProCurve(config)#logging email receiver-ip 172.5.67.99

Specifies the IP address (in dotted decimal notation) of the mail server to use
when sending logged messages.
Specifies the user name to use if your email server requires authentication.
Specifies the password to use if your email server requires authentication.
