ip pim-sparse override-interval <time>
Use the ip pim-sparse override-interval command to specify the delay interval after a join/prune in
which another router on the LAN may override the join/prune. Use the no form of this command to return
to the default value.
Syntax Description
<time>
Default Values
By default, the override-interval is set to 2500 milliseconds.
Usage Examples
The following example sets the delay interval for join/prune overrides to 3000 milliseconds on the ATM
interface 1.1:
ProCurve(config)#interface atm 1.1
ProCurve(config-atm 1.1)#ip pim-sparse override-interval 3000

Specifies the delay interval (in milliseconds) after a join/prune in which
another router on the LAN may override the join/prune. Valid range is 0 to
65,535 milliseconds.
