backup shutdown
Use the backup shutdown command to deactivate all backup functionality in the unit. Backup
configuration parameters are kept intact, but the unit will not initiate (or respond) to backup sequences in
the event of a network outage. Use the no form of this command to reactivate the backup interface. For
more detailed information on Frame Relay backup functionality, refer to the Functional Notes section of
the command backup call-mode <role> on page 904.
Syntax Description
No subcommands.
Default Values
By default, all SROS backup interfaces are disabled.
Usage Examples
The following example deactivates the configured backup interface:
ProCurve(config)#interface frame-relay 1.16
ProCurve(config-fr 1.16)#backup shutdown
