HDLC Command Set

backup auto-backup

Use the backup auto-backup command to configure the interface to automatically attempt a backup upon

failure. Use the no form of this command to disable auto-backup functionality.

Syntax Description

No subcommands.

Default Values

By default, all backup endpoints will automatically attempt backup upon a failure.

Usage Examples

The following enables automatic backup on the endpoint:

ProCurve(config)#interface hdlc 1

ProCurve(config-hdlc 1)#backup auto-backup
