ip rip receive version [1 | 2]
Use the ip rip receive version command to configure the RIP version the unit accepts in all RIP packets
received on the interface. Use the no form of this command to restore the default value.

Default Values
By default, all interfaces implement RIP version 1 (the default value for the version command).
Functional Notes
Use the ip rip receive version command to specify a RIP version that will override the version (in the
Router RIP) configuration.
The SROS only accepts one version (either 1 or 2) on a given interface.
Usage Examples
The following example configures a Frame Relay sub-interface to accept only RIP version 2 packets:
ProCurve(config)#interface frame-relay 1.16
ProCurve(config-fr 1.16)#ip rip receive version 2

Accepts only received RIP version 1 packets on the interface.
Accepts only received RIP version 2 packets on the interface.
