snmp-server source-interface <interface>
Use the snmp-server source-interface command to tell the SROS where to expect Simple Network
Management Protocol (SNMP) traps to originate from (interface type). All SNMP originated packets
(including traps and get/set requests) will use the designated interface's IP address. Use the no form of this
command to remove specified interfaces.

Default Values
By default, there are no trap-source interfaces defined.
Usage Examples
The following example specifies that the Ethernet interface (ethernet 0/1) should be the source for all
SNMP traps and get/set requests:
ProCurve(config)#snmp-server source-interface ethernet 0/1

Specifies the physical interface that should originate SNMP traps. Enter
snmp-server source-interface ? for a complete list of valid interfaces.
