ip ospf network [broadcast | point-to-point]
Use the ip ospf network command to specify the type of network on this interface.
Syntax Description
broadcast
point-to-point
Default Values
By default, Ethernet defaults to broadcast. All other interfaces default to point-to-point.
Functional Notes
A point-to-point network will not elect designated routers.
Usage Examples
The following example designates a broadcast network type:
ProCurve(config)#interface hdlc 1
ProCurve(config-hdlc 1)#ip ospf network broadcast
5991-2114
Set the network type for broadcast.
Set the network type for point-to-point.
