AIR CONDITIONING

HEATER CONTROL ASSEMBLY

INSPECT BLOWER SPEED CONTROL SWITCH CON-

Switch position/ Circuit

Illumination circuit

If continuity is not as specified, replace the switch and check the

INSPECT DEF. MODE SWITCH

Check the continuity exists between terminals 1 and 3 of

the blower switch connector when turning the mode se-

lector to the DEF. position and F/DEF. position.

If no continuity exists, proceed to the next step.

Check the continuity exists between the terminals of the

A/C mode switch.

If no continuity exists, replace the A/C mode switch.

If continuity exists, check or replace the heater control housing

Tester connection
