17.2 Installation
This section describes installing and cabling procedures for an MG-SIP128 [MG-
128SIPMGG]. Take anti-static measures to work on it.

Installing Procedure
You can mount an MG-SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG] on a 19-inch rack. The procedure is
the same as mounting an SV8500 server on a 19-inch rack; refer to the UNIVERGE SV8500 Installation
Manual.

Cabling Procedure
Here describes the cabling procedure. Follow the following to connect cables.
Step1:
Plug an attached AC power cable into the AC power inlet on the rear panel of an MG-
SIP128 [MG-128SIPMGG]; fix the AC power cable with the stopper.
Note:
To remove the AC cable, push the hook of the stopper outward, and take off the fixing belt. Push the
tab of the stopper, and slide the stopper away from the power inlet.
Step2:
Connect the other end of the AC power cable with an appropriate AC source.
